Contract Manufacturing
Between joint venture partners and extensive in-house capabilities, TGB can oversee all aspects of a total system build and guarantee and streamline production process.
TBG has vast experience in a multitude of electro-mechanical, electrical and electronic assemblies and the manufacturing flexibility to run both small batches and larger production run in:
-
Procurement of parts
-
Subcontract PCB assembly and metal fabrication
-
Documentation and project planning
-
Harness Manufacture
-
System build
-
Loading Software
-
Test, packaging, and distribution
Operating as a focused entity in a quarantined section the assembly area allows for rapid change between products and batch related costs to a minimum through superior production practices.
TBG can ensure provisions of sub-assembly componentry with rapid response to changes in demand such as component sourcing and/ or manufacturing to a customer supplied parts with supply chain system catering to kanban, VMI, JIT, MRP or spot order disciplines.
Cable/Harness Assembly
The manufacturing and assembly of electrical looms can be simple or elaborate, with inaccuracies in customer drawings and specifications not uncommon. As such, our qualified personnel pore over all specification as to ensure accuracy across all finished products.
All forms of outer protection to the wires (Spiral wrap, split tube, plastic sheathing and heat shrink) and specialized labelling available with identification markers provided as a standard feature
Automated Cable Processing
TBG caters to the many needs of a wide range of industries, specialising in the manufacture of electrical assemblies with the capacity of processing PVC, silicon, power and ribbon cables.
Harness Assembly
From the simple cable harness to the most complex harnessing, TBG processes standard electrical wires from 14 to 30 gauge in both PVC and silicon. TBG employs equipment utilizing fully automatic cut, strip and terminate equipment and also incorporates join-up capabilities, enabling two cable to terminated to one connector.
Larger cables, up to 90mm square power cables, are also easily handled in TBG facilities by semi-automatic machines, with the capability of cutting and stripping up to 10mm OD.
Termination Application Machinery
TBG has a total of 18 stand alone Cable Termination Machines with a wide variety of applicators capable of processing AMP, Molex, JST and Utilux connectors. In addition, a Panduit reel fed Mascon terminating machine utilizes 2.5mm ribbon cable or discrete wire with insulation displacement.
Machineries available are:
7 Gamma presses Automatic
